In the absence of copy by Lorin, she must endure what we write. We are very proud of her. She graduated from a tough program (geology) from East Carolina (in Greenville) and is ready to conquer the world. She has married a wonderful young man - Scott Wharton. On April 7th, 2004, their first child was born - Ella Patricia Wharton. On December 10, 2007, their second child was born - Samual Scott Wharton.
These are pictures of her departmental graduation (5/03) and her receiving her award as outstanding Geology student. It was the same one her uncle (Les Rogers) received from that department more than 15 years ago. Her grandfather (Wiley S. Rogers, III) and another of her uncles (Jeff Rogers) were/are also geologists.
Ella will soon have her own page, but this will have to do for now.
