The oval is complete now. This is looking at the far end. I built
the entire oval raised. This way I was able to control by grade. From
front to back it drops about 10 inches - about a 2% grade. Left to right
is level.

On
this portion, I filled in the raised layout with dirt and gravel. This
way it looks like it is at grade with the grass, but in reality, it is about
6 inches off the groud. Here is Christopher Station. I have plated
a few plants (as can be seen on the right). Maybe someday it will be more.
Another look at Christopher Station. I put in a rather long passing track
by the station. Right now the entire layout is one block. I hope
to rewire parts of it to make 5 blocks. I do not intend to run multiple
trains, but this way I can part a locomotive and turn the power off to where
it is parked.
